Patch Notes - Version 0.2.3

Game version 0.2.3

The contents of this patch include:

Implementations:

  • Main framework of the game has been created, including the Main Menu, Settings menu, Game mode menu, and playable levels.

  • Throwing game mode has been implemented (Tuning in progress).

  • Metasound SFX have been added to both game modes.

  • 4 throwing types and 3 throwing modifiers have been added and updated.

  • Massive updates to animation system and integration with game modes.

  • Updated Player models.

Fixes:

  • Previously there were issues with some of the throws (Near target throw would only focus on one specific target, regular throw would have a curve without any of the curve buttons being held, and high throw would be thrown in the wrong direction when the disc was thrown), which have since been fixed.

  • The disc would previously fly through targets instead of hitting them, causing no points to be added - The disc now hits the targets correctly and gives the player the correct amount of points.

  • Player throw animation did not play correctly, causing the top half of the body to appear to twist without the rest of the body. This has now been fixed and the body of the character now twists as it should when throwing the disc.

  • Previously, the camera would get stuck on the left side when the player would pick up the disc from the left - The camera has been fixed so that it can continue to move both left and right depending on the player’s position.

  • Previously there was a second disc on the ground whilst the player was also holding a disc. The second disc would get stuck to a target when thrown - This second disc has now been removed so that it is no longer able to get stuck on targets and is no longer visible next to the player.
